Armoryは、Factoryで生産される機械系地上ユニット（Vulture・SiegeTank・Goliath）と、Starportで生産される航空ユニット（Dropship・Wraith・Science Vessel・Valkyrie・Battlecruiser）の武器および装甲のアップグレードを行うための建物です。
GoliathとValkyrieは、生産のためにはArmoryが必要です。
Armoryでの武器のアップグレードは、SiegeTankのように最大+15のアップグレードボーナスがつくものなど、アップグレードの恩恵がかなり大きなものが多いので、資源が余ったら早目に建ててアップグレードするようにしましょう。二軒建てて、同時にアップグレードするのは基本です。
Battlecruiser・Valkyrieなどの基本装甲の硬いユニットは、装甲のアップグレードをすることによって、さらに硬くなります。もったいぶらずにどんどんアップグレードしましょう。
